How we work
It is in our translation office in Hamburg where all the strings for professional, expert translations come together. You can bounce off your ideas with us, have us manage your translation project and ensure the text quality – all from a single source. For every project, we harness our extensive pool of roughly 30 language experts to create a team for you that perfectly matches your needs. Should you have any questions, or should anything about your project change on short notice, you can reach us Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We aim to make you happy with the translation of your marketing copy or website, newsletter or press release.

Founder Ursula Finnern-Seul and Susanne Schatz are the language experts behind the editing and translation agency Text first. We have more than 35 years of combined experience in editing and translating. We are united by our passion for languages and cultures – beyond just text.
